PERSEI Space completes ESABIC incubation porgramme
PERSEI Space successfully completed the incubation programme ESABIC Madrid after two years of hardwork.
On 22 July 2026, PERSEI Space successfully completed the Final Review of our incubation programme at ESABIC Comunidad de Madrid and Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d. 🌍 💡
Looking back on these past two years, it is incredible to see how much we have grown. The programme has helped us strengthen our business model, refine our intellectual property strategy, and build a stronger and more specialised team around our electrodynamic tether technology for space sustainability.
As the space sector moves towards a cleaner and more responsible use of orbit, we firmly believe that technologies enabling the safe deorbiting of satellites will play an increasingly important role. Having the opportunity to develop our company within the ESABIC ecosystem has been an invaluable experience, and one that we would wholeheartedly recommend to any space startup beginning its entrepreneurial journey.
In fact, the support extended far beyond engineering. Throughout the programme we also received outstanding business, legal and strategic guidance from the ESA BIC network and its partners. We are especially grateful to Bufete Mas y Calvet and to Efrén Díaz Díaz for their invaluable legal support, particularly in relation to our upcoming in-orbit demonstration aboard the E.T.PACK-F satellite.
We would also like to acknowledge the key role of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, through C3N-IA Parque Científico UC3M, which has been our home during the last two years and has provided an outstanding environment to grow as a company and to Carlos Romero Moreno, the entire ESABICMadridRegion team, Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d for believing in our vision and supporting us throughout this journey.
Although our incubation programme has now come to an end, we are proud to become part of the ESA BIC alumni community. We look forward to continuing to represent the programme, applying everything we have learned, and pushing forward the development of our technology to contribute to a more sustainable space environment.
