🚀 PERSEI Space at Georgia Tech: an immersion in the U.S. startup ecosystem.

Last week, PERSEI Space joined the Immersion Week for Spanish Startups at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, USA, following an invitation from CDTI.

This opportunity came as part of the support surrounding our work under the CDTI NEOTEC programme, where PERSEI Space has been advancing the development of our infrastructure needed towards future production and commercialisation.

Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in one of the most dynamic innovation ecosystems in the United States and to learn directly from entrepreneurs, investors, researchers and ecosystem leaders at Georgia Tech.

The programme covered topics that are highly relevant to our journey as a deep-tech company: startup ecosystems, investment readiness, customer discovery, partnerships, leadership, pitching, sustainability, business model innovation, scaling and strategic decision-making.

One of the most valuable takeaways was the opportunity to compare the European and U.S. approaches to entrepreneurship, investment and technology commercialisation, while discussing how sustainability can become a fundamental part of business strategy across different industries.

For a company like PERSEI Space, working at the intersection of deep tech, space sustainability and advanced engineering, this perspective is extremely valuable as we continue building both the technology and the company around it.

A huge thank you to CDTI and the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute (EI2) for making this experience possible, and especially to Annick Ducher, José Javier Romero Ruiz, Juan Antonio Serrano, Juli Vaso Golemi and Viviana Montenegro for the organisation, support and time throughout the week; and to other start-ups that we had the pleasure to share learnings and insights.

We are coming back from Atlanta with new ideas, new connections and an even clearer perspective on what it takes to take deep-tech innovation from technology development to sustainable growth and international markets.

And, above all, we continue moving forward with NEOTEC and the development of PERSEI Space's technology for a more sustainable use of orbit. 🌍🛰️
